So far, Oppo has launched the Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 9 Pro+, and Reno 10 Pro+ in the Chinese market. However, according to a Chinese tipster, that the upcoming Reno 11 series, set to be released later this year, might not include the Reno 11 Pro+ model.

The tipster did not disclose the specific reasons for Oppo’s decision to cancel the Reno Pro+ variant. It appears that the Pro+ model may not be receiving a good market response as compared to the vanilla and Pro-branded Reno models.

The tipster further said that the company is planning to expand its Find X6 lineup. So far, the company offers the Find X6 and Find X6 Pro models in China. These devices are powered by the Dimensity 9200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. According to the tipster, a new Find X6 series powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip is in the works.

The new Find X6-series phone will likely debut in the second half of this year. It also seems that going forward Oppo’s Find X-series will have not two, but three phones for the Chinese market.

In the below renders, the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro can be seen sporting the same colors and almost identical designs. The Reno 10 will arrive in three options: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.

The Reno 10 Pro will be available in two options: 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage.

As many as two tipsters claimed last month that the Reno 10 Pro+ will have a periscope zoom camera, which will support 2x optical zoom. It remains to be seen whether the OPPO PHU110 arrives in the Chinese market with the Reno 10 Pro+ moniker.

New information shared by tipster DCS states that the OPPO PHU110 has a curved-edge screen with a punch-hole at the top-centre position, which indicates that it has an OLED panel. It will support a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The back panel of the phone will have a 50MP (1/1.56” Sony IMX890) primary camera, an 8MP (Sony IMX355) ultra-wide lens, and an unspecified periscope camera. The tipster did not mention the name of the chipset but claimed that it has a high-end chipset manufactured with the TSMC 4N process. Lastly, it packs a dual-cell 4,700mAh battery.

The above-mentioned specifications of the OPPO PHU110 are quite similar to the Reno 9 Pro+. Hence, it appears that the PHU110 may end up as its successor, the Reno 10 Pro+. Since there is no concrete evidence to prove it, it is recommended to digest the report with a pinch of salt.

In 2019, OPPO launched the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom. It was one of the first phones to feature come equipped with a periscope-design 5x optical lens. The Chinese manufacturer did not release a successor model for it. It appears that the company is finally going to bring the periscope zoom camera feature to its Reno series.

In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station asked Weibo users whether they want to see a periscope camera on the Reno series. He added that this generation (Reno 9 series) will not feature it, which hints that it will be available on the Reno 10 series.

At the same time, another tipster has claimed on Weibo that the Reno 10 series will come equipped with a periscope zoom camera. He claimed that the feature will be only available on the “super-cup” (machine-translated text). This indicates that the Reno 10 Pro+ may arrive with a periscope zoom camera. The tipster had previously tipped that the device will offer only 2x optical zoom.

The rumor mill is unlikely to reveal any more details about the Reno 10 series so soon since it is expected to debut by mid-2023 in China. The company and rumors are mainly focused on spilling information about the Reno 9 series.
