According to reports, in the 3DMark Time Spy test project, the graphics score of the RTX 6000 is 30518 points, which is 72% higher than the old RTX A6000, and more than 2 times higher than the Quadro RTX 6000 using the Turing architecture. The graphics of the RTX 6000 are not as good as the RTX 4090 gaming graphics card due to power consumption constraints.

The RTX 6000 is a workstation graphics card with the same architecture as the GeForce RTX 40 graphics card. Based on the AD102 GPU, the number of CUDA cores is 18176, 11% more than the RTX 4090, and the video memory is 48GB, twice that of the RTX 4090. The power consumption is 300W. The Boost frequency of the RTX 6000 is 2.5 GHz, the same as the RTX 4090, and the GDDR6 memory speed is 20 Gbps.

Now Chinese e-commerce platforms have sellers listed on this graphics card, and the price is as high as 59,999 CNY.

In addition to introducing the new GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards for gamers, NVIDIA today introduced a new flagship graphics card for the professional vision market, the RTX 6000 48GB. This graphics card carries the name of the previous generation but uses a new Proviz solution based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.

NVIDIA says the RTX 6000 card is equipped with 48GB of GDDR6 EEC memory and is 2-4 times more powerful than its predecessor, the RTX A6000, thanks to a significant increase in the number of CUDA and RT cores and a new Ada Lovelace architecture.

NVIDIA’s new flagship RTX 6000 48GB graphics card utilizes the company’s AD102 graphics processing unit, but the company is not revealing its exact configuration at this time. Typically, the company tends to lower the power consumption of its workstation-class graphics cards to extend their lifespan compared to top-of-the-line gaming products, which is why the RTX 6000 48GB has a TDP rating of up to 300W of power (compared to 450W for the GeForce RTX 4090). Therefore, do not expect the RTX 6000 48GB to have the same HPU configuration as the GeForce RTX 4090 or the rumored GeForce RTX 4090 Ti.

The RTX 6000 GPU offers a larger L2 cache, significantly increased next-generation core count and performance, and increased memory bandwidth that will bring compelling performance to a broad portfolio of Ansys applications,” said Dipankar Choudhury, Ansys Fellow and Head of the HPC Center of Excellence. impressive performance gains for a broad portfolio of Ansys applications,” said Choudhury.

Due to the reduced power consumption of the RTX 6000 48GB, the card comes with a relatively compact dual-slot cooling system (4.4″ x 10.5″) and a fan designed to ensure that the new motherboard is suitable for workstations as well as servers (as the product can also be used for remote rendering and virtual desktop applications). As for display outputs, the adapter features four DisplayPort 1.4 connectors that can drive up to four monitors with resolutions up to 5Kp60 or 8Kp30 or two monitors with resolutions up to 8Kp60.
