According to reports, the prototype product pictured above may be the new generation of Noctua’s 140mm fan, which will use the new Sterrox liquid crystal polymer material, which can provide better structural stability for the blades at high speeds, and maximize airflow and noise. . In addition, the new material has a very high strength-to-weight ratio. Noctua reduces the gap between the impeller and the inner frame to less than 1 mm, which helps guide the fan to direct the air flow.

According to a previous report, Noctua’s roadmap shows that a new generation of 140mm fans will arrive in the first quarter of 2024, and a “chromax.black” all-black version will also be available later.

In the roadmap announced in January this year, Noctua stated that it would postpone the release of white fans until 2024; and in the latest roadmap released this month, including white fans Many products have disappeared.

Noctua plans to release a next-generation cooling system for AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors in the third quarter of this year. The release window corresponds to the expected release time of the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 processors and the new TR7 platform for workstations and HEDT systems.

Noctua plans to launch a chromax.black version for existing desktop coolers in Q4. Among them, the NOCTUA NH-D12L, NH-D9L and NH-L9x65 models are expected to get black versions.

Noctua’s next-generation cooling system, the NH-D15, has been delayed from the fourth quarter of this year to 2024. And the white fan has completely disappeared from the roadmap.

According to Chiphell, ASUS will once again cooperate with Noctua to launch a joint RTX 40 series graphics card at CES next month.

ASUS has cooperated with Noctua to launch RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 graphics cards.

According to reports, the co-branded graphics card is a custom heat-dissipation graphics card jointly designed by ASUS and Noctua, which has strong heat-dissipation energy efficiency and precise noise reduction. The custom card features two NF-A12x25 120mm fans and a custom heatsink for superior aerodynamics, cooling and acoustics, and is the quietest card in its class. The card is able to reduce thermal noise by 8.6dBA at maximum fan speed. In the oven test, the maximum temperature of the GPU was only 52.3°C, and the memory temperature dropped to 62°C. The fan speed is up to 2003rpm, and it is also very quiet at full speed.

Austrian PC radiator manufacturer Noctua has announced the latest product roadmap.

In the fourth quarter of this year, Noctua will launch a new silicone grease and a new generation of 140mm fans.

In the first quarter of next year, Noctua will push the AM5 version of the NH-L9a radiator, a new generation of NH-D15 radiators and a new generation of Xeon CPU radiators.

AM4 version of the NH-L9a heat sink

Current model NH-D15

In the second and third quarters of next year, Noctua will also launch 60mm thin fans, 24V 40mm fans, and new desktop fans and white fans.

Noctua stated that, except for the NH-L9a-AM4 and NM-AM4-L9aL9i, all of Noctua’s AM4-capable Noctua radiators and mounting kits are directly upward compatible with AM5 sockets. This means that all SE-AM4 models purchased from January 2019 and all Noctua multi-socket coolers directly support AM5 sockets. Users of multi-slot coolers purchased prior to this date who have upgraded to AM4 using the NM-AM4 or NM-AM4-UxS kits will also not need to do any upgrades.

Noctua announced the NA-TPG1 thermal paste guard for AMD’s latest AM5-based Ryzen processors. Because of the unique shape design of this generation of processors, excess thermal paste is squeezed outward when the heatsink is attached. With AM5 CPUs, this excess paste tends to accumulate in the cutouts on the sides of the heatsink and can become difficult to remove.

Simple and risk-free application of NA-TPG1 prevents this undesired phenomenon.

Roland Mossig (Noctua CEO) said: “There’s no denying that AMD’s new Ryzen 7000 processors perform very well, but we’ve found that the cutouts on the side of the heatsink tend to attract thermal paste that can be difficult to clean. Drop, that’s what our new hotmelt protector does: it’s a simple but very effective tool to keep your new Ryzen 7000 series CPU looking good and clean.”

The NA-TPG1 is made of highly heat-resistant polycarbonate and forms a tight seal around the edge of the CPU heatsink, making application and removal simple and risk-free. Despite its simplicity, it is highly effective at preventing thermal grease from accumulating in the openings on the sides of the AM5 CPU.

The NA-TPG1 will be sold separately along with 10 NA-CW1 cleaning wipes (NA-STPG1) and the new AM5 versions of the NT-H1 and NT-H2 thermal pastes, all three of which are scheduled to be available in December.

The MSRP for the NA-STPG1 is 7.9 EUR/USD, the NT-H1 3.5g AM5 version is 9.9 EUR/USD, and the NT-H2 3.5g AM5 version is 13.9 EUR/USD.
