The two sides started cooperation from the upstream material side of the new energy power battery, exploring cooperation in lithium resource development, midstream lithium salt deep processing and comprehensive battery recycling at all levels.

Guangzhou Automobile Group Chairman Zeng Qinghong said that the current new energy vehicle market is in a rapid growth phase, the main factors affecting sales growth is the cost, chip supply and infrastructure support, battery costs have accounted for more than 50% of the cost of the vehicle, limiting the further growth of sales.

According to the report, GACEA and Ganfeng Lithium can rely on their respective industrial base and industry resources in the field of new energy to explore cooperation in lithium resources, battery recycling, battery recycling and other aspects.
