At the same time, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60 have suspended the release of the MIUI development version based on Android 13 since September 23. The development version will be re-released after it is equipped with Android 14.

The development versions of Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 based on Android 14 will end testing on September 23, and development versions will continue to be released after many of the above models are adapted to Android 14.

It is noticed that Xiaomi also announced plans for a National Day development version:

September 23-October 6: Development version suspended

October 13: Development version resumes release

It is understood that starting from MIUI based on Android 13, MIUI focuses on two versions: “development version” and “official version”. The MIUI development version is released for one year, and products released for more than one year will gradually withdraw their permissions.

Development version: It is a test version provided to a few rice fans with senior geek spirit. It is used for problem feedback and testing. The stability is unpredictable.

Official version: a stable version that has been tested and optimized.
