]]> Microsoft has released the Edge browser Dev version 111.0.1633.0 which includes a new feature on Android and various improvements and fixes. If you have Edge Dev installed on your Android phone, you can now long press on the new tab to enter the wallpaper center.

Android:

Long press on the new tab now takes you to the wallpaper center.

Reliability improvements
Fixed browser crash related to search sidebar.

Fixed a browser crash related to search in the mini menu.

Fixed a browser crash on older versions of Windows 10 when trying to use the camera.

Fixes a browser crash when moving tabs to a separate window.

Fixes a browser crash when dragging tabs out of a tab group.

Android:

Fixes a browser crash related to reading aloud.

WebView2:

Fixed crash associated with Sandbox.

Other changes
Fixed links from PWA so they don’t open in Workspace.

Fixed sidebar not adding current page in some scenarios.

Fixed duplicate MSA login issue.

Fixed an issue that prevents printing on printers whose names contain Japanese strings.

Fixed an issue where quitting an application in the discovery and search sidebar context menus did not work.

macOS:

Fixes an issue with the default workspace external link setting causing external links to open in a window that is not the last active window.

iOS:

Fixed PDF scaling issue.

Fixed recovery prompt when no crash occurs.

Fixed video corruption playback issue.

WebView2:

Disabled pre-connection search to stop SSL connections when opening: blank pages.

Fixes an issue with the Open File dialog not opening.

Fixed issue with WebView2 failing to reinstall when it is running.

Enterprise:

Fixes an issue where popular site data is not cleared after changing identity on iOS.

Microsoft Edge Dev support runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, Android. iOS platforms require an invitation to test Edge Dev, and the program is currently full.

According to the official release schedule, Microsoft plans to release Edge 110 Beta the week of February 14, 2023, and Edge 111 Official Stable the week of March 9, 2023.
