The Tab Extreme 14.5-inch ultra-large screen tablet released by Lenovo overseas a few days ago will use the Legion brand in China, and the model is Y900.

Lenovo’s Legion use four-digit names for notebooks, three-digit names for tablets, and two-digit names for mobile phones.

Lenovo launched the Legion Y700 tablet last year, which uses an 8.8-inch screen and Snapdragon 870 configuration. The latest Lenovo Tab Extreme, also known as Y900, has a higher positioning. It is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship processor and is equipped with a 14.5-inch large screen.

As for the screen, the Lenovo Tab Extreme features a 14.5-inch 3000 x 1876 resolution OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

The device is equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage, a 12,300mAh battery, two Type-C ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0, fingerprint and face unlock support and DP input support.

Otherwise, it weighs 740 grams, is 5.85 mm thick, has 8 JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support, 4 microphones, a 13 MP lens on the front and a 13 MP + 5 MP dual camera on the rear, runs Android 13, has three years of major system updates and four years of patch updates.

The tablet will be available in Europe in June for 1299 euros (currently about CNY 9431).

Lenovo at CES 2023 brought a heavyweight Android tablet — Lenovo Tab Extreme, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship processor, equipped with a 14.5-inch super large screen.

According to Lenovo’s official press release, the Lenovo Tab Extreme supports seamless collaboration with laptops through the DP-in USB Type-C interface input display, as well as through the DP-out connection to the large display.

In addition, the Lenovo Tab Extreme supports up to four application split screens and supports opening up to 10 applications simultaneously as floating windows.

At CES 2023 the Lenovo Tab Extreme got unveiled with its flagship-level specifications. This is one of Lenovo’s most advanced tablets up to date, and it competes with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Although this tablet is not yet available for sale, its specifications are jaw-dropping.

This tablet comes with a massive 14.5-inch 3K OLED display that might seem too big for some people. But considering that this is a productivity tablet, its massive screen size is much appreciated. For snappy responses, this tablet supports a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+ resolution.

For its processing power, the Lenovo Tab Extreme makes use of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. It will also come with up to 12GB worth of memory and 256GB worth of storage. When it comes to video calls, this tablet comes with a 13MP ultrawide front-facing camera with some smart noise-cancellation microphone features.

Looking at the Lenovo Tab Extreme productivity features, it comes with a magnetically attached dual hinge keyboard. It also supports the Lenovo Precision Pen 3 which brings low-latency responsiveness and charges magnetically at the back of the tablet. For multitasking, this tablet can support up to four split screens and ten floating windows without hanging or glitching.

The tablet runs Android 13 with some productivity customizations to improve the overall user experience. Also, the Tab Extreme comes with a massive 12,300mAh battery capacity that supports 68W fast charging. The pricing and availability of this tablet will be made available by Lenovo in the coming weeks.

The Lenovo Tab Extreme is equipped with a 14.5-inch 3000 x 1876 resolution OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The machine is equipped with 12GB LPDDR5X memory and 256 GB expandable UFS 3.1 storage, has a 12300mAh battery, is equipped with two Type-C interfaces, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0, and supports fingerprint and face unlocking. The official did not mention whether it supports it HDMI IN input.

The machine weighs 740 grams and has a thickness of 5.85 mm. It is equipped with 8 JBL speakers, supports Dolby Atmos (Dolby Atmos), and 4 microphones, front 13MP lens, rear 13MP + 5MP dual camera, and runs Android 13. It has three years of system major version updates and four years of patch updates.

Lenovo will launch a high-end tablet called Tab Extreme in the near future. After the tablet appeared on the Google Play Console list last month, whistleblower Evan Blass shared a high-definition rendering of the tablet.

The renderings that the tablet is equipped with 2 cameras on the back and is equipped with an LED flash module. The renders also confirm that the tablet will offer support for a stylus, which will magnetically attach to the back of the device.

The tablet appears to have four speaker grilles on the top and bottom. There is also a USB-C port on the bottom. The front border of the tablet is equal in width on all four sides. There is a front camera with a punch hole in the center of the screen. On the left and top edges, respectively, are the volume controls and the power button.

The renders also show that the tablet will come with a folio case and be able to connect with a detachable keyboard for laptop-like functionality.

According to Google Play Console information, Lenovo Tab Extreme will be equipped with a 3000×1876 resolution display and MediaTek MT8798Z SoC (also known as MediaTek Dimensity 9000), one of which has an Arm Cortex-X2 super core clocked at 3050MHz and three Arm Cortex-A710 chips. The main frequency of the core is 2850MHz, the main frequency of four Arm Cortex-A510 small cores is 1800MHz, and the GPU is Arm Mali G710.
