In January of this year, Lenovo announced that the new Legion series is expected to adopt MediaTek’s latest Wi-Fi 7 technology. Now, Lenovo has confirmed that both the Intel and AMD versions of the new generation of Legion 9000X will be available with the MediaTek Filogic 380 wireless network card.

According to reports, the MediaTek Filogic 880 is a 6nm SoC that combines Wi-Fi 7 with a powerful AP and NPU. The Filogic 880 adopts a scalable architecture that can support five-band 4×4 MIMO technology (Multi-input Multi-output multiple input multiple output technology), with a maximum rate of 36Gbps.

Lenovo’s new generation of Legion 9000X notebooks will be available in April, and TP-LINK also announced that its Wi-Fi 7 router will be available in China in the second quarter of this year, and everyone will soon be able to use faster Wi-Fi 7 devices.
