Lego’s new “Batman Returns Batcave Shadow Box” is composed of 3981 building blocks, nearly 12 inches high and more than 20 inches long. It is Lego’s largest Batman building block so far. That beats the 2,363-brick Batwing of 1989, the 2,049-brick LEGO Batmobile, and the 3,308-brick 1989 Batmobile.

Despite being much smaller than the LEGO 1989 Batmobile released in 2019, the Batmobile from the LEGO Batman Returns Batcave Shadow Box still manages to add a few features, including a miniature-sized cockpit, a fire-breathing jet engine exhaust, and a pair of machine guns popping out on either side of the cockpit.

Lego “Batman Returns Batcave Shadow Box” has a total of seven minifigures, including new versions of Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman and Danny DeVito’s Penguin, as well as Bruce Wayne, Alf Red Pennyworth, Wayne in a classic Tim Burton-era batsuit with headgear to keep his head from turning and another batsuit, and Max Shrek, first A Christopher Walken LEGO minifigure.

Lego’s “Batman Returns Batcave Shadow Box” VIP Early Access will open on June 5th, and general sales will start on June 8th, with a retail price of $399.99.

According to Reddit netizen LinkWink, Lego may cooperate with Nintendo to launch Lego blocks with the theme of “Legend of Zelda”.

It is reported that the set is expected to contain 1920 pieces, with a retail price between 200 and 325 US dollars. This will be the latest product that Lego has launched in conjunction with various well-known IPs in recent years.

The pictures exposed this time are not clear, and there are the protagonist Link and the same name Zelda under the tree named Great Deku Tree. The figures are based on the games The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the set is expected to also include Hestu and some Deku Babas and the child Link from Ocarina of Time.

According to The Verge, LEGO is testing a new online figure-making tool, Minifigure Factory, which allows you to create a LEGO figure of your own.

In this tool, you can choose different heads, headpieces, torsos, legs and accessories for your custom mannequin. For the torso, you can go really deep with customization by applying decals and custom text. (According to Jay’s Brick blog, LEGO will review the designs to prevent users from making inappropriate figures). There are also some fun accessories, such as a laptop, pretzels and pizza, from which you can pick and choose. The completed figure will cost $11.99, although each user can only purchase one.

If you’ve used LEGO’s online Build A Minifigure tool (available in some countries), Minifigure Factory looks similar. However, Build A Minifigure does not offer the level of torso customization that Minifigure Factory does.

LEGO says the site currently has “limited availability. The company also said Minifigure Factory is now a beta version and said in a notice that “some parts and features may not be available” and that “you may also find the page unavailable from time to time.”
