Samsung released Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4 folding screen phone, both phones are equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, and support IPX8 level waterproof. Yesterday, Samsung shared the two folding screen phones being assembled and tested in the factory, focusing on water resistance testing.

Samsung shows how the back cover of the Galaxy Z Fold4 is assembled and pressed. At the same time, Samsung shows how the Galaxy Z Fold4 performs distance sensor tests, touch tests, network tests, camera tests, wireless charging tests, folding tests, button tests, and other functions.

Samsung shows the waterproof test of the Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4 folding screen phone. In addition to spraying the Galaxy Z Fold4 with a water gun, Samsung also put the Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4 in a half-folded state underwater to observe its waterproof performance.

SLASH GEAR reported on August 16 that Samsung abandoned the water-drop hinge solution and adopted a traditional hinge design in order to provide IPX8 level water resistance to the Galaxy Z Fold4 / Flip4.
