The Arc A310 adopts the Xe HPG architecture and is built with TSMC’s N6 process. It is equipped with 6 Xe cores, that is, 768 stream processors, which are basically the same specifications as the 96EU core display of the mobile platform. In other respects, this graphics card has a GPU frequency of 2000MHz, a TBP power consumption of 75W, a PCI Express 4.0 x16 connection, and a memory of 4GB 64bit GDDR6.

According to reports, the Arc A310 graphics card in the picture above has been the first to be listed overseas, and the price is about 170 US dollars (about 1182 yuan).

Currently, Intel’s Arc A380 entry-level graphics card is equipped with 8 Xe cores and equipped with 6GB 96bit GDDR6 video memory. The price of the National Bank is as low as 999 yuan.

Intel has just brought the new Arc A310 to the Arc Alchemist desktop GPU family, and because the specs are entry-level, AIB partners will be able to easily build single-slot / half-height graphics cards, or fanless passive cooling SKUs. As a slight upgrade to Intel’s core graphics, it is targeted at consumers who want to build 4K / 8K HTPCs, or workstations / HEDT computers with just a few high-resolution screens connected, and competes directly with products like the AMD Radeon RX 6400.

Although a reference design is missing, many expect it to look similar to the Arc Pro A40 professional card — except with a full-size DisplayPort + HDMI video output instead of mini-DP, and a full-height baffle instead of half-height.

In terms of specs, the Arc A310 uses TSMC’s N6 ACM-G11 GPU chip, which enables six of the eight Xe-Cores.

That is, 96 EUs out of 128 EUs, or 768 out of 1024 unified shaders, complemented by 6 optical chasing units and 96 XMX AI acceleration units.

Arc Pro A40 profile

The Arc A310’s GPU is clocked at 2.00 GHz, down from the Arc A380’s 2.10 GHz.

It is paired with 15.5Gbps of GDDR6 memory at 4GB @ 64-bit width, a 1/3 cut from the 6GB @ 96-bit Arc A380.

The card also features a PCIe 4.0 x8 host interface and typical power consumption of less than 75W, eliminating the need for a 6-pin power supply connector on most non-public models.

Arc A310 graphics card real photos recently revealed. As Intel’s most entry-level Arc graphics card, the Arc 310 features a small form factor and half-height design. This spy shot comes from Alexey “Unwinder” Nikolaychuk, who specializes in overclocking with various tools such as Rivatuner and MSI’s Afterburner.

Although Intel has already released the entry-level Arc A380 graphics card, rumors have previously suggested that the most entry-level model in the Arc series would be the Arc A310. The Intel Arc A310 graphics card revealed in the images is apparently a public version, with a protective cover similar to the previously leaked high-end ACM-G10 graphics card. Nikolaychuk also revealed that the cover is actually 3D printed, and it’s unclear what kind of design will be used for the retail version.

The card features a half-length (no more than 167.65mm) and half-height (no more than 68.9mm) design. The card uses the Single Slot specification with an array of aluminum heatsinks on the GPU, VRM and VRAM and is cooled by 2 standard fans with 11 fan blades. The image used as a comparison is the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X graphics card, which is obviously a lot bigger.

In terms of specs, the Arc A310 is the “scaled down” card, positioned below the Arc A380 and Arc A350, which utilize the ACM-G11 GPU core and offer 4GB of GDDR6 memory via a 64-bit bus interface. Due to the entry-level design and 50W design, the Arc A310 card does not have an external extra power supply, which is a good solution for small HTPCs.
