Huawei launched a second phone business last year, with a 1-year official warranty, assembled with a new battery, the color of 9 new and 99 new options. The latest news is that Huawei’s official refurbished machines are also coming.

The difference between the official refurbished and used phones is that the used phones have scratches and other signs of use, while the refurbished ones look new.

The first of these is the Mate X2 officially refurbished machine, which will be released by Huawei.

A model NOH-AN80 Huawei 5G digital cell phone October 18 through the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology telecommunications equipment into the network license, the application unit and the production company Huawei Terminal Co. Huawei responded by saying that the model number NOH-AN80 announced by the MIIT was actually the Mate 40 Pro, which had changed its product description and needed to be re-declared in accordance with MIIT requirements.

The Mate 40 Pro is Huawei’s 5G phone to be launched in October 2020 with Kirin 9000 chip, a 6.76-inch 68-degree curved screen, support for 3D face recognition and under-screen fingerprint unlock, dual front cameras, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel super wide-angle movie lens, and a 12-megapixel 5X periscope lens with 5x optical zoom.

For Huawei, this form of folding screen phone is to vigorously develop, so players are very concerned about when the X3 will arrive. Some users gave the news that the new generation of folding screen flagship Huawei Mate X3 will be released at the end of December this year or in January next year, while the Glory Magic V2 will arrive in the first quarter of next year. The news also mentioned that Huawei is fully prepared for the Mate X3, while the Mate 50 series is expected to be released at the end of August, and the stocking of the two heavyweight new series is one of Huawei’s current priorities.

According to the previous industry chain, the Mate X3 will begin mass production in November this year at the earliest, while it is expected to hit the market in early 2023, total shipments will grow by more than 80% compared to the Mate X2, which shows Huawei’s determination to sell folding screen phones.

For reference, the Huawei Mate X2 uses the first dual wedge-shaped one-piece design, as well as a very futuristic eagle wing folding form, and uses a variety of highly sophisticated special materials and special production processes on the hinge system, in addition to zirconium-based liquid metal, Huawei also introduced the first super-strong steel, which can prevent impact and does not deform.

The Huawei Mate X3 is expected to have new upgrades in the hinge and screen sections as a way to improve durability and drop resistance.

It’s worth mentioning that the Mate 50 will debut with the Kirin 9000S processor, as revealed in a leak earlier today, and I wonder if the X3 will have the same version.

Huawei foldable are reigning supreme in the Chinese foldable market. Data collection within China in the month of May showed the wide acceptance of Huawei foldable devices in the country. Three of the company’s devices are in the top 3 spots on the list of foldable devices. The three devices are the Huawei Mate X2, P50 Pocket, and Mate Xs 2.

Huawei Mate X2

Huawei foldable: Mate X2

The Huawei Mate X2 is the company’s first commercial attempt at an inward folding device. This device became official in the month of February 2021 and went on sale after its launch. This device uses a different folding mechanism in comparison with other foldable from Huawei. But unlike its close competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, this device uses a crease-free hinge.

The thickness of this device reduces towards the left folding half, hence shifting its centre of gravity for a better grip. It uses the Kirin 9000 chip and has a memory configuration of 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB. It runs EMUI 11.0 running on Android 10 but launched a second time with HarmonyOS.

Huawei P50 Pocket

Huawei foldable: P50 Pocket

The second device on the list is the Huawei P50 Pocket, which is the first Huawei foldable with a clamshell design. After the launch of the P50 series, leaks and rumours regarding a coming flip folding device from Huawei spread. This wasn’t the first time we heard of such rumours, but with this wave, the rumours got more precise. About four months after the launch of the P50 series, Huawei released the P50 Pocket.

It has a similar camera setup to devices in the P50 series but has the form factor of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. In China, the P50 Pocket launched with HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box, but Europe received EMUI 12. Below its circular cutouts is a secondary display that can handle some quick widgets activities. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G powers this foldable device.

Huawei Mate Xs 2

Huawei foldable: Mate Xs 2

The most recent foldable from the Chinese tech giant also made the top 3 best-selling foldable devices in China. Huawei Mate Xs 2 took Huawei’s original outward folding design. This device is by far one of the flattest folding devices in the world. It weighs 255g and has a thickness of 5.4mm when unfolded, this measurement carries along the better half of the foldable.

It comes with a triple camera setup housing 50MP, 8MP, and 13MP lenses. Furthermore, it comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box and uses the Snapdragon 888 4G processor. Some argue that this device’s features cannot justify its price, but its sale in China shows otherwise.

Huawei is still showing its resilience despite the relentless sanctions from the US government. Its performance in the Chinese market shows that if given the opportunity, it will again soar to great heights in the global market. The Huawei Mate 50 series will launch in a few months, its features will be made known towards the launch event.
