According to the official news from Jambulon, FORESEE has released its first dedicated memory card for the educational electronics market – EPLUS V10 series microSD, which is designed with a new firmware architecture, supports SPI mode, and provides 8GB~32GB capacity.

According to the introduction, performance, the product matches the Class 10 speed grade, ensuring continuous transfer speeds of up to 10MB/s, and optimizes the response priority of read and write commands, effectively avoiding playback lag, distortion, and intermittent situations.

In terms of power consumption, FORESEE’s low power design reduces terminal power consumption to a relatively low level and saves power by going into hibernation as soon as possible during idle time, providing a long life guarantee for educational electronic terminals.

According to the official release of Jiang Bolong, Jiang Bolong recently released the first FORESEE 512Mb SPI NAND Flash in mainland China.

Depending on system storage capacity requirements, customers typically choose SPI NOR Flash for capacities up to 128Mb, and face the challenge of choosing between the higher cost 256Mb / 512Mb SPI NOR Flash or 1Gb SPI NAND Flash for larger capacities. FORESEE 512Mb SPI NAND provides a more suitable option for applications that do not require 1Gb of capacity.

FORESEE 512Mb SPI NAND Flash is an ideal replacement for 256Mb NOR Flash, providing customers with the advantage of double the storage capacity at a significantly lower price than 256Mb NOR Flash, helping customers to significantly reduce costs.

In addition to the standard 8mm6mm package of SPI NAND Flash, this 512Mb NAND Flash is available in a smaller 6mm5mm package, which is nearly 37% smaller than the 8mm*6mm of traditional SPI NAND Flash, thus saving PCB space and helping customers further reduce This saves PCB space and helps customers further reduce system costs. The product form factor and pin definition are fully compatible with 256Mb NOR Flash, which greatly facilitates customers to upgrade from NOR Flash to NAND Flash.

Currently, the product has been successfully applied to smartwatches, wearable devices, communication CPE, communication modules, security monitoring, smart home, smart door lock and other fields.

The product has been tested by JIANG BOLON’s R&D and testing team with more than 50 major items and 80 sub-items to meet the wide temperature requirement of -40℃ to 85℃.

Up to now, Jambulon has the mass production capability of SLC NAND Flash products with 512Mb, 1Gb, 2Gb and 4Gb capacity.
