The new Ferrari is a fine blend of a luxury SUV and a performance vehicle with a touch of smart features. Yes, this is an SUV, and it is the first of its kind from its manufacturer. Over the years Ferrari has stuck to the production of pure luxury sport performance cars, so, it is great to see an SUV from the brand.

How does this new vehicle hold up in terms of performance and overall design? We will start with the performance of this vehicle and then move on to its design. Like regular sports vehicles such as the Ferrari 812 GTS, this new SUV comes with a 6.5-litre V12 engine, assuring peak performance and a maximum power of 725CV.

With its engine, this vehicle offers 80% of the maximum torque with a peak of 716 Nm at 6250rpm. Ferrari says that this SUV will hit 62mph in only 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 193mph. These are some claims or features that bring this SUV in close competition with regular sport performance vehicles.

This vehicle comes with a unique design that looks quite futuristic because it lacks a grill common with other fuel-driven cars. Another interesting feature of this vehicle is its doors which swing open in opposite directions, commonly known as suicide doors. This type of door is also on the Rolls-Royce Cullinan along with some other luxury vehicles.

On its interior, we have a complete work of art, luxury at its finest. Its interior features include a 10.25-inch screen infotainment system, which finds itself toward the passenger’s seat. All four seats are heated and independently adjustable. There is so much going on in the Ferrari Purosangue and the manufacturer knows so well to place its price at $400,000. Even if the specifications or design of this car didn’t drop your jaws, then its price will do just that.

The Ferrari Purosangue, which debuted on September 13th is the Italian marque’s first four-door car, and with its aggressive design and powerful power, it looks no less than a real Ferrari. When the Purosangue’s suicide doors open to reveal a four-seat configuration.

There’s no bench seat option here, and beyond that, while the Purosangue seems very roomy for passengers, its 16.7 cubic feet of cargo space means it needs to be lightly loaded for those weekend trips. The rear doors can be opened at an angle of at least 79 degrees making it easy to get in and out of the back seat.

Without the traditional two-seat SUV shape, the Purosangue looks like a swell sports car, bulging in all the right places, plus taking styling cues from the Roma and the new 296 GTB.

Ferrari is a master of mid-engine sports car balance, and it has worked hard to maintain that balance in the Purosangue SUV. The Purosangue is about the size of the Lamborghini Urus, which weighs 4,483 pounds.

The Purosangue uses a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with 715 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. As an SUV, the Purosangue naturally has all-wheel drive.

However, there is also some electrification technology embedded in the Purosangue. Ferrari has developed 48-volt suspension technology through a partnership with the Canadian company Multimatic, which allows for active dampers and anti-roll control. SUV or not, the Purosangue must drive like a Ferrari.

It also costs like a Ferrari, with an estimated base price of around $400,000. The 2023 Purosangue will hit the road next year.
