According to IT House’s previous reports, “Far Cry 5” has recently natively supported 60 frames of operation on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. All modes of the game including: single-player campaign, co-op, arcade, and all DLC support 60 FPS.

Far Cry 5 is an open-world first-person action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. The game was officially revealed on May 26, 2017 and will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms. This is the sequel to 2014’s “Far Cry 4”, the fifth installment in the Far Cry series, and the game was released on March 27, 2018.

Digital Foundry, a digital channel, has put the new Crysis 5 patch to the test in its latest video, and found a significant performance boost.

Crysis 5 game previously on the Xbox Series X|S game console, in the case of enabling FPS Boost, to reach 60fps.

After installing the patch, the Xbox Series X game console was able to run at 4K 60FPS and the Xbox Series S game console was able to reach 60FPS at 1920*1080 resolution with no noticeable performance degradation.

The Xbox Series S performs just as well at 1080P 60FPS as the Series X does at 4K 60FPS, which is a really great upgrade.
