August 13, according to the National Energy Group news, the latest generation of DLZ-HV-200 high-efficiency plasma ignition and combustion stabilization system recently in the National Energy Group Jiangxi Shenhua Jiujiang Power Generation Company Unit 2 successful operation, marking the latest generation of high-efficiency lightweight plasma ignition and combustion stabilization system for the first time successfully applied to megawatt-class coal-fired generating units.

The latest generation of high-efficiency lightweight plasma ignition and combustion stabilization system adopted by Unit 2 of Jiangxi Shenhua Jiujiang Power Generation Company is based on the transformation of new plasma combustion stabilization technology.

The new system technically adopts DC air plasma as the ignition source to achieve oil-free ignition and combustion for cold start of the boiler, which is characterized by lightweight equipment, high reliability and good economy, said NEC. After the installation of the new system was completed, the transformer impact test of Unit 2, the trial operation of the cooling water pump with load and the arc pulling of the plasma generator were all successful in one go.

According to the report, the successful application of the new system can significantly improve the boiler low-load stable ignition capacity, equipment power consumption reduced by 20% to 40%, equipment weight reduced by nearly 80%, cathode life cycle increased by more than 3 times, more adaptable to long-cycle low-load stable ignition needs. This technical route can save 1.6 million RMB per 200 hours compared to the micro oil ignition route.
