The game is set in the virtual city of Detroit in 2038, where players will take on the roles of the three main characters, Kara, Connor and Marcus, depending on the chapter, and decide the game’s ending in different choices.

A few days ago it was announced that the game had sold over 8 million copies (not including those obtained through subscription services), and today it was announced that the PC version has sold 2.5 million copies.

Detroit: Become Human, an interactive cinematic game with an artificial intelligence theme, was first released on May 25, 2018, and currently has an overall rating of “exceptionally positive” and a recent rating of “highly positive” on Steam. Originally priced at $128, it’s currently on sale for an all-time low of $64 during the Chinese New Year Sale.

In January 2019, NetEase announced that it had acquired a partial stake in Quantic Dream and confirmed that the latter would operate independently. in August 2022, NetEase announced its complete acquisition of Quantic Dream, bringing games such as Heavy Rain, Super Twin and Detroit: The Changing Man into the fold.

Quantic Dream’s latest title will be Star Wars: Eclipse, which was shown in 2021 and is expected to be released in the next few years.
