Game officials are now announcing that players who pre-order on Steam will get the original version of Dead Space 2 for free. Additionally, the Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game and 5 exclusive cosmetics.

According to the introduction, the game is completely rebuilt and aims to provide players with a more immersive experience, including visual, sound and gameplay improvements, while doing its best to faithfully restore the thrilling visuals of the first version of the game.

Game description.

"Isaac Clarke, an ordinary engineer, is tasked with repairing the giant mining ship USG Ishimura, only to find that things go beyond his imagination. The crew on the spaceship has been slaughtered, and Isaac's beloved partner Nicole is also missing on board.

Now, Isaac is alone, with only his engineering tools and skills to rely on. As the truth about a terrifying mystery aboard the Ishimura comes to light, he must find Nicole fast. Surrounded by hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival. Not only does he have to contend with the escalating horrors on the ship, but he also has to face his own sanity that is about to collapse."
