HME Kyosemi announced the launch of its Hercules H series new generation product H3C08 chip (H3 series products), which is the first domestic FPGA chip based on 22nm process and has been successfully mass produced.

According to the official introduction, KYOCERA H3C08 adopts 6K LUT6 (equivalent to 8K LUT4) with performance up to 250MHz and supports hardcore MIPI D-PHY Tx with interface rate up to 2.5Gbps. The H3 series is based on a heterogeneous architecture with 8K high-performance programmable logic resources, a 5MB embedded SRAM memory module, a dedicated image/video processing module, a 32-bit high-performance processor – Cortex-M3 MCU – and a rich set of peripherals. It further enhances the processing efficiency, operation flexibility, module scalability and function integration of the product in multiple applications.

H3C08 chips can be widely used in new generation consumer terminals, display bridges, AR&VR and other applications, continuing to expand the market area of domestic FPGA chips.

Jingwei Qili is one of the earliest companies in China to enter into independent research and development, large-scale production and batch sales of general-purpose FPGA chips and new-generation heterogeneous programmable computing chips; the company has over 200 patents with independent and completely independent intellectual property rights, covering the full-stack technology fields such as FPGA core design, SOC architecture design, chip development, EDA software development and IP development.

As one of the four major categories of logic chips, FPGA chips are characterized by their field programmability, which allows users to configure their designed circuits according to their actual needs through special EDA software provided by FPGA chip companies. The user can configure the functions of the FPGA chip through dedicated EDA software provided by the FPGA chip company.
