CanonRumors broke the news that Canon may release at least three RF-S lenses in 2023, two of which may be based on the EF-M design.

According to its sources, Canon is expected to launch the RF-S 11-22mm f/4.5-5.6 STM in the first half of this year. According to reports, the EF-M product has been the favorite of EOS M users since it was launched, because it is really a very good lens, especially for its cost performance.

It’s a pity that there is no detailed information about these lenses yet, but I believe that as CP+ approaches in February, we will see more and more information gradually.

There was previous news that Canon will release the EOS R8 before CP+ in February, and its positioning is between Canon EOS R7 and EOS R10.

According to reports, the EOS R8 will have a different design than the R7 and R10, with a unique screen and the same 24.2mp image sensor as the EOS R10.

In May, Canon released the smallest and lightest EOS R series camera ever: the EOS R10. Today, the camera is finally on the shelves and open for pre-order, with a body price of $5,399 and a kit sale with the RF-S18-45mm lens and the RF-S18-150mm lens.

As the lightest in the series, the EOS R10 body weight of only 429g compared to the EOS 850D’s 515g was reduced by 86g, and the smaller size, in the out-of-home, carries the burden lower.

However, a smaller size does not mean shrinking performance.

The EOS R10 is one of the first new APS-C format models since the release of the Canon EOS R system, with approximately 24.2 million effective pixels and support for cropped 4K 60P and 6K oversampling 4K 30P high-quality short film recording.

At the same time, the camera supports 4:2:2 10bit HDR PQ recording mode, which allows the recording of high-quality images with higher brightness and wider color range.

The EOS R10 achieves a high continuous shooting speed of up to 23 frames per second with the electronic shutter and follows the popular second-generation full-pixel dual-core focusing technology for fast and accurate focusing.

In addition, the EOS R10 also adds a 0.5-second pre-shoot function in RAW continuous shooting mode. 0.5-second pre-shoot records images 0.5 seconds before the shutter is released, allowing users to capture fleeting moments when shooting sudden movements of the subject.

The EOS R10 features an electronic viewfinder with about 2.36 million dots, 0.95x magnification, and a single UHS-II memory card slot.
