According to previous reports, AMD’s previously released version 1.0.8.0 has begun to support the Ryzen 7000G desktop APU. According to Wccftech, version 1.1.0.0 may be an optimized version that fully supports this series of processors.

AMD has not launched the desktop version of the R7 6800H before. Currently, AMD’s most powerful desktop APU is the R7 5700G, and its core display is Vega8, which is far behind the latest Radeon 780M. The Ryzen 7000G series desktop processors should be desktop transplants of the mobile platform’s R7 7840HS and R5 7640HS, maintaining the same specifications, with power consumption unlocked to 65W TDP, and the core display performance is expected to be higher.

According to reports, Level1Techs received a B650 LiveMixer motherboard kit that includes this tentatively available motherboard expansion card.

AMD X670 motherboards use two Promontory21 chipsets, while the B650 series has only one. Therefore, ASRock wants to expand the B650 to X670-like specifications by adding the chipset directly to the expansion card.

This expansion card with its own chipset has two PCIe x4 NVME M.2 slots, three USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, two SATA connectors and one 10G network port.

Note that this expansion card is only available for some ASRock motherboards and requires a special interface connection.
