According to the list published by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has recently obtained a technical patent related to Apple Watch. Clothing automatically changes color and theme.

It is learned from reports that the front of the Apple Watch is equipped with a color sampling sensor that can measure the color of external objects.

During color sampling, the wearer needs to face the Apple Watch towards the sampling object, emitting a sequence of red light, green and blue light, and the built-in light sensor will detect the reflection of the above three kinds of light, and judge the color through an algorithm.

There will be a corresponding control circuit inside the Apple Watch, and after receiving the color information provided by the color sampler, the dial color and theme can be adjusted accordingly.

According to a list published by the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has recently been granted a patent for technology on the Apple Watch.

The patent describes a strange application scenario where Apple plans to equip the back of the Apple Watch with a camera that would allow the wearer to take Face ID images and generate 2D / 3D virtual avatars that can be used in the Apple Watch, Apple AR / VR headset.

In addition to taking pictures of faces to generate virtual avatars, Apple also says in the patent that Apple Watch can act as a controller to communicate with each other in virtual scenarios.

Apple will embed more sensors in the Apple Watch to capture the wearer’s facial features, eye features, fingerprints and other biometric information, and to recognize various input methods such as eye gaze, air gestures, voice commands and click gestures.

According to the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO) recently published list, Apple obtained an Apple Watch-related patents, that can be embedded in the strap NFC, RFID and Bluetooth and other components, so as to achieve certain specific functions.

In Apple’s vision, the future Apple Watch could “recognize” the type, model, color, size, or other characteristics of a watch band, and the dial would automatically adjust the dial, switch modes, and other operations depending on the band.

Apple also plans to embed NFC, RFID, and other sensors into Apple Watch bands to detect light, pressure, touch, movement, temperature, or other “health indicators”. In addition to monitoring heart rate, the future Apple Watch can also detect whether the wearer has a fever and other conditions.

According to the list published by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has recently obtained a watch patent related to the Apple Watch. The patent describes an Apple Watch that can detect and respond to tiny finger movements as well as user gestures.

The patent is titled “Electrodes Suitable for Gesture Recognition” and the number is US 20230105223 A1. It is learned from the patent description that it is mainly to embed electrodes in the Apple Watch strap, which can monitor the user’s gesture operation.

The patent abstract reads: “Embedded electrode sensors in the flexible strap of a wrist-worn device can be used to monitor user gestures. Multiple rows of electrodes can be configured to detect electromyography (EMG) signals generated by muscle and tendon activity.” Table The strap could include a detachable electrical connection (such as a pogo pin) that connects to the watch’s processor for analysis.”

According to a list published by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple today acquired the rights to a technology involving the Apple Watch. Apple wants to introduce radar sensors in the Apple Watch to monitor human breathing and cardiovascular biometrics.

The radar system outlined in Apple’s patent has two components, a transmitter that emits signals to a target object and a receiver that receives reflected signals from the target object. The radar system can detect the movement or vibration of the target object based on the reflected signal.

The patent, the radar system can “refine” the displacement movement or vibration, and divided into:

  • 0.5 mm and below
  • 1 mm and below
  • 2 mm and below
  • 5 mm and below
  • 1 cm and below
  • 2cm and below
  • 5 cm and below

The different “refinement” levels allow for the detection of the wearer’s breathing rate, heart rate, coughing, sneezing, trembling, seizures and/or other movements or vibrations of the body.
