]]> According to the official news of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the first and so far the only scientific exploration satellite to monitor the geomagnetic field and space environment of the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) near the equator using a low inclination orbit will be launched in the first half of 2023. It is expected to make meaningful achievements in the intersection of astronomy and earth science (deep earth, deep sea, deep space).

The first one is a mockup of the A and B satellites, from the Macau University of Science and Technology.

The first satellite is the first scientific and technological test satellite jointly developed by the Macau SAR Government and the National Space Administration (NASA), which is located at the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences of Macau University of Science and Technology. The launch was postponed to the second half of 2022, and today it was postponed to the first half of 2023.

The satellite consists of two satellites, A and B: A satellite is equipped with advanced high-precision vector magnetometer, highly stable optical platform, high-precision scalar magnetometer, etc.; B satellite is equipped with solar X-ray detector, energy electron spectrometer, etc.
