AMD currently only uses Socket AM5 (LGA 1718) sockets for Ryzen 7000 (Raphael) series processors, and hackers attacked Gigabyte last year.

The table information shows that AMD will launch three Ryzen processors using the AM5 socket, all of which belong to the Family 19h family, covering Zen 3, Zen 3 + and Zen 4.

The table shows that Type-2 (Models 60h-6Fh) uses a Zen 4 chip with a CPU ID of “A60F12”, so it is inferred to be a Ryzen 7000 series processor.

Type 1 (Models 40h-4Fh) and Type 3 (Models 70h-7Fh) processors are not yet released. Foreign technology media tomshardware believes that Type 1 may be the Ryzen 6000 series (Rembrandt), while Type 3 may be the Ryzen 7040 series (Phoenix).

Rembrandt uses Zen 3+ cores and RDNA2 graphics, produced using TSMC’s 6nm process; while Phoenix uses Zen 4 cores and RDNA3 graphics, using TSMC’s 4nm process. The chips also feature XDNA technology, an FPGA-based artificial intelligence engine that AMD acquired when it acquired Xilinx.
