At the Radeon RX 7900 series RDNA 3 graphics card launch, AMD announced its AMD Advantage program for desktop gaming platforms. Just like high-performance laptops, the AMD Advantage program is designed to create AMD-based desktop gaming machines.

Now, with details of the AMD Advantage desktop program available on AMD’s official website, the key requirements for system integrators to ship AMD Advantage desktops include:

R9 7000 series CPU (7950X or 7900X)

AM5 X670E Motherboard

Radeon RX 7900 Series Graphics Cards

32GB+ DDR5 EXPO memory

2TB+ NVMe storage

CPU needs to use liquid cooling

Heat dissipation noise is controlled within 42 decibels

AMD stresses that the program costs nothing, but it involves close collaboration—AMD personnel work directly with system builders to ensure everything meets specific quality standards and ensures users get the best possible experience.

Currently, AMD Advantage Desktop Program partners include: CSL, CyberPowerPC, eBuyer, Falcon Northwest, Maingear, Origin PC and Xidax.
