]]> Without much notice, AMD 7020 series APU processors quietly debuted, belonging to the Mendocino family. The AMD 7020 series is positioned for ultra-low power consumption, mainly for mobile notebook platforms that focus on cost-effectiveness, and adopts a unified 6nm process. In terms of architecture, the CPU is based on Zen2, and the GPU is integrated with RDNA2. The series currently discloses three SKUs, namely Ryzen 5 7520U, Ryzen 3 7320U, and Athlon Gold 7220U.

Among them, the Ryzen 5 7520U is designed with 4 cores and 8 threads, with a frequency range of 2.8~4.3GHz, 6MB cache, integrated Radeon 610M GPU display unit (2CU), and power consumption of 8~15W.

The most entry-level Athlon Gold 7220U only has a dual-core and four-thread design, and also integrates a Radeon 610M GPU display unit.

In terms of other features, it claims to allow the notebook to achieve 12 hours of battery life, support voice wake-up, fast charging, Microsoft Pluton security co-processor, etc.

According to plan, AMD 7020 series APU processors will be available in the fourth quarter, the first products are Acer Aspire 3, Lenovo IdeaPad 1 and an unnamed 17-inch HP notebook.
