Synology today launched a new product, BeeDrive, for backing up and synchronizing data or photos from computers and mobile devices.
Officially, BeeDrive is built with a high-speed SSD, and the first operation only requires connecting to a computer, installing an application, and getting started.
As for the software, as long as the mobile device is successfully paired with BeeDrive, it can transfer various data and photos to BeeDrive in one click with BeeDrop function. In addition, BeeDrive’s built-in bi-directional sync function is suitable for users who often replace their computer devices to work and deal with life’s big and small things, and the BeeDrive can be synced to specific folders after being connected to a computer. Once you plug in the BeeDrive, you can switch between PC devices at the office or at home and synchronize in both directions.
The series of mobile SSDs are available in 1-2TB, with USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface and transfer speed up to 1050MB/s, and will be available in mid-June at an unannounced price.
