Blogger Panda has baldly drawn a diagram of the suspected camera layout of the OPPO Reno 9 series. As the image shows, the camera layout is similar to that of the OPPO Reno8 Pro, with a total of three back cameras and a ring flash located in the lower right corner. According to the leak, there are two models in the OPPO Reno9 series, with the Reno9 standard version rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G series processor and the Reno9 Pro powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series processor.
Also on the OPPO Reno8 series, OPPO has equipped the Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro+ with its own chip, the Marianas MariSilicon X, the world’s first 6nm image-specific NPU for mobile.
This chip boasts unprecedentedly powerful AI computing energy efficiency, integrating its own self-developed AI processing unit MariNeuro. AI computing power reaches 18TOPS, surpassing Apple A15’s 15.8TOPS, which is the world’s top level.
And the OPPO MariSilicon X integrates the MariLumi image processing unit developed entirely in-house by OPPO, which supports 20bit bandwidth; and supports the ultra-dynamic range of 20bit Ultra HDR, four times the capability of current state-of-the-art general-purpose platforms.
Unsurprisingly, the OPPO Reno9 series will also use MariSilicon X, which will help boost the imaging power of the Reno9 series, which is also the most powerful model in Reno’s history and is worth waiting for.
