Subaru Solterra trim configurations and pricings revealed officially

Subaru Solterra, Subaru’s first full-fledged electric vehicle, now has a price listed next to it, as well as three trim variants that are available. In an interesting twist, the drivetrain is the one thing that all three alternatives have in common.

The Subaru Solterra is built on Subaru’s first-ever all-electric architecture – the e-Subaru Global Platform. Solterra is the first AWD electric vehicle to feature the standard capability of symmetrical all-wheel drive. Packed with next-generation features inside and out, the Solterra offers the trusted reliability of a Subaru in a zero-emissions, all-electric SUV.

Dual-motor all-wheel-drive system is provided in all versions. Additionally, all versions deliver a maximum output of 215 horsepower. The battery’s rated range is only 367 kilometers, which isn’t particularly great considering the battery’s capacity of 71.4 kWh.

The added safety and comfort elements that distinguish the three configurations are what distinguish them from one another. The base Premium trim (Premium is the lowest rung) is priced at $44,995. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The driver assistance feature, as well as a rear-view camera with traffic recognition and pedestrian warnings, are all standard on this vehicle.

The Limited trim level will cost $48,495 and will replace the 8-inch infotainment screen with a larger 12.3-inch display. Along with a 360-degree view, a wireless charging dock for smartphones, and parking functions such as rear-cross traffic recognition are all included in the package. The trim also includes digital key compatibility. Harman Kardon provides Subaru Solterra’s music system requirements. This package also includes LED fog lights.

The top Touring trim level offers a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and digital rear-view mirrors featuring HomeLink functionality. This top trim will cost $51,995. On top of that, there’s also the Limited edition to consider.

The Subaru Solterra is open for pre-order, with actual sales likely to begin later this year. Early birds will receive EVgo charging credits or rebates on a home Level 2 charger if they register before the deadline.
