Studio Wildcard announced that it will shut down Ark: Survival Evolved servers in August and replace the game with Ark: Survival Ascended (Ark: Survival Ascended is the next-gen version of Ark: Survival Evolved).
Sources indicate that Studio Wildcard has added new features to Ark: Survival Ascended, as well as a number of optimizations and enhancements. Some of these enhancements include Nanite, Lumen and RTXDI with Unreal Engine 5, dynamic water bodies, interactive vegetation and performance gains.
Ark: Survival Ascended will be released for PC via Steam at the end of August, along with PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions.
