Stellantis stated that this investment will support the launch of more than 40 new products during the period, the development of new biofuel hybrid technologies and innovative decarbonization technologies throughout the automotive supply chain, as well as the expansion of strategic new business opportunities. The group will invest more than 50 billion euros in electrification over the next ten years and plans to become a net-zero carbon emission company in 2038. The new hybrid technology will enter service from the end of 2024. Officials stated that the Fiat brand took the lead in developing and applying biofuel engine technology using 100% ethanol. In terms of sales volume, in South America, Stellantis Group focuses on the three main markets of Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
