After Phil Spencer announced that the number of simultaneous online players in the game “Starfield” exceeded 1 million, Bethesda once again announced good news through the X (Twitter) platform today: announcing that the number of players exceeded 6 million.

“Starfield has surpassed 6 million players, making it the largest game Bethesda has ever released,” Bethesda said in a tweet.

It was previously reported that Spencer was interviewed by CNBC. When asked whether he believed that the new game “Starfield” would drive console and Game Pass sales, Spencer gave the following answer:
We did see huge demand for the game, and as soon as the Early Access version launched, Starfield became our most-played next-gen exclusive game. It's also the most popular title Bethesda and Xbox have ever released on Steam.
