The remastered version of “Star Wars™: Dark Forces Remaster” developed by Nightdive Studios and LucasArts is available on Steam and does not support Chinese.
It is learned from the game introduction that the development team has completely remade “Star Wars: Dark Force” through the team’s KEX engine, so that it can run on modern gaming devices at up to 4K resolution and 120 FPS frame rate. The game also features upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting rendering, and support for handles.
The original game launched in 1995 and put players in the role of Kyle Katarn, a defector from the Galactic Empire who became a mercenary. Katarn joined the Rebel Alliance’s covert operations division and was responsible for infiltrating the Galactic Empire, where he discovered the secret Dark Troopers program.
