According to the report, the other party said that the news of price reduction and discontinuation of the Ideal ONE is true, the vehicle will be officially discontinued in October, and the after-sales service of the Ideal ONE will not be affected in any way after the discontinuation of production. Meanwhile, the vehicle’s replacement, the Ideal L8, will be officially released in November. It is not clear what specific upgrades and changes will be made to the replacement model.
Shen Yannan, co-founder and president of Ideal Cars, previously said that the Ideal L8 will be released in early November 2022 and deliveries will begin the same month it is released. Ideal L8 is a mid-size intelligent luxury SUV for families and will be available in six-seat and five-seat VIP versions.
Delivery data shows that in August 2022, Ideal delivered a total of 4,571 new vehicles. Since the delivery, the cumulative delivery volume of Ideal has reached 199,484 units.

For Ideal ONE’s OTA software upgrade service, Ideal Auto said the software team will also continue to develop and operate. From the fourth quarter of 2022, Ideal will push out camping mode, automatic air conditioning deodorization, transparent chassis and many other functions one after another. At the same time, Ideal ONE’s assisted driving and intelligent cockpit experience will also be continuously optimized through OTA.
