Today netizens took camouflaged photos of Xiaomi Motors’ first model on the streets of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The car is expected to be mass-produced in the first half of next year.
As can be seen from the picture, this new car adopts a coupe shape as a whole, with sharp lighting effects, and the roof is equipped with lidar and related test equipment. At present, it is not clear what the test program of this new car will be.
Xiaomi’s first model, SU7, has previously been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will be launched in multiple versions, divided into three versions: SU7 / Pro / Max. It is expected to be mass-produced and released in the first half of next year. The car offers two different versions: single motor and dual motor. The former has a motor power of 220KW and a maximum speed of 210km/h; the latter has two motors with a power of 220KW and 275KW respectively, and a maximum speed of 265 km/h.

According to a previous report by automotive media “AutoPix”, Xiaomi’s first car entered the fifth stage of production line verification (PT5) at the Yizhuang factory last week. The factory needs to complete the goal of loading 300 vehicles this month, which is relatively high. This is several times higher than in November.
According to reports, this does not mean that the new car will be mass-produced this month, but that in order to supply the needs of terminal exhibition cars, the mass production node will not be earlier than the first quarter of next year.
According to Jiemian News, some Xiaomi Homes in Beijing, Shanghai and other places have begun confirming the placement of exhibition cars.
