Several car bloggers recently posted spy photos of models under NIO’s third brand. According to reports, this new car is a NIO-FY car project and will be produced at the Chuzhou factory in Anhui. The brand will be launched in the European market and meet European five-star safety standards.

The new car has a relatively smooth body appearance. Like the previously unveiled first car of the second brand “Ledao”, the roof does not have lidar. The rear is equipped with a larger spoiler and the tail light source has a unique shape. The car still supports battery swapping, and judging from its size, it will use the smallest battery pack.
According to NIO’s previous plans, the car will be sold overseas, and the starting price in the European market is expected to be less than 30,000 euros.
According to previous reports, there was news at the beginning of last year that NIO’s fourth vehicle factory was located in Chuzhou Economic Development Zone, Anhui Province and would be put into production of NIO’s third brand product internally codenamed “Firefly”.
NIO founder Qin Lihong previously stated that NIO’s new brand is under intensive preparation. The second brand is internally code-named Alps (now named Ledao) and is expected to start delivery in 2024; the third brand is called Firefly. , is a small car brand of Weilai, which will be launched in Europe and is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2024.
