Sources said that the Lite version of Nothing Phone (1) will arrive in the Indian market in October

Citing Indian tech media outlet The Mobile Indian, it was reported that a Lite version of the Nothing Phone (1) will be available in the Indian market in October. When contacted by the outlet, Nothing denied plans to launch a Lite version of the Phone (1).

According to sources, the Lite version of the Nothing Phone (1) will have the same design and configuration as the Phone (1), with the only difference being that it will not have the Glyph port and wireless charging. For another Indian media, 91Mobile thinks that although the launch of the “Lite” version makes sense, the removal of the Glyph interface, which is the biggest brand feature, will make it less attractive to users.

According to sources, the Lite version of the Nothing Phone (1) will also come with a larger 5000mAh battery, bigger than the 4500mAh of the existing Phone (1). Although the phone supports 33W fast charging, a 42W fast charging head will be included in the package. Unlike the Phone (1), the Lite will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option and will be priced at Rs. 24,999.
