The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor has a frequency of 3.36GHz, which is higher than the 3.2GHz of the regular version of the 8 Gen 2. It was previously reported that there were reports that Samsung’s exclusivity period for the high-frequency version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has ended and Qualcomm will soon open it to other phone manufacturers. The processor may be named Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 as per Qualcomm’s practice.
