Recently, a new Sony model XQ-DS99 suddenly appeared on the Geekbench platform, and its processor and other detailed parameters were thus published. According to the parameters released by Geekbench, the XQ-DS99 is equipped with a Dimensity 8000 processor, has 12GB of RAM, runs Android 12 and has a single-core score of 867 and a multi-core score of 3484.
It is reported that the Dimensity 8000 uses TSMC’s 5nm process and the CPU part contains four 2.75GHz A78 cores and four 2.0GHz A55 cores, while the GPU is Mali-G610, using its own APU 580 architecture.
Although the core parameters have been revealed, it is not clear from the data available which Sony model this mysterious “XQ-DS99” corresponds to.
However, judging by the number of Xperia models Sony has already launched this year, it is likely that this new model will also follow its family design language and outperform similar models in terms of photography.
