Sony Xperia 1 V pushes version 67.0.F.1.197 update

The Xperia 1 V phone is now pushing the 67.0.F.1.197 version update, the company announced. The phone was released in May this year, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, priced from 8999 yuan.

The main updates:

System

  • New customized application screen high brush settings
  • Update Google security patches, improve system security

Fix known issues

Audio

  • Fix the Bluetooth headset’s absolute volume setting.

The Sony Xperia 1 V phone goes on sale in June this year and is available in Ink Black, Misty Silver, and Pale Green colour variants and features a 6.5-inch 21:9 4K (3860×1644) punchless display with support for real-time HDR technology (HDR 10, HLG). The front stereo hidden dual speakers have been upgraded to full-range units, and it still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

In terms of imaging, the camera adopts the IMX888 primary camera (24mm, 1/1.35, 52MP full aspect ratio, 48MP effective pixels, 12MP static output, 2.24um pixel size, F1.9), which utilizes the new Exmor T Layer Transistor Pixel Stacked Image Sensor, with the first layer being a photodiode, and the second layer being a pixel transistor, which works in conjunction with each other to capture more light and reduce image noise. The camera features a new Exmor T Dual Transistor Pixel Stack image sensor with a photodiode in the first layer and a pixel transistor in the second layer, which combine to capture more light and reduce image noise. It also features a 12MP IMX563 ultra wide-angle (1/2.5 Exmor RS, 16mm, F2.2) lens and a 12MP 85-125mm IMX650 F2.3-2.6 telephoto lens.

It’s worth noting that in order to localize the Xperia system even more, Sony and Meizu entered into a partnership in October 2021 to pre-install Flyme-adapted apps such as the app store, mailboxes, weather, and news on the national version of the Sony Xperia. however, this has created some additional problems.

Blogger @ZACKBUKS discovered earlier this month that Meizu Flyme added Meizu 20 series ads to the weather app customized for Sony Xperia phones. In this regard, Sony customer service responded that the behaviour of Meizu weather plus ads is not the content of cooperation between Sony and Meizu, and has urgently contacted Meizu to remove it.
