Sony released two intelligent center composition cameras: support artificial intelligence analysis

Sony recently officially announced the PTZ (pan / tilt / zoom) intelligent center composition camera with artificial intelligence analysis functions new SRG-A40 and SRG-A12, which will be available in May 2023.

Sony said that the new products not only support artificial intelligence analysis, automatic recognition of shooting, and intelligent central composition, but also automatically and steadily track the speaker, whether it is sideways or fast-moving, or in a multi-person screen can continue to track the target, and with three automatic composition mode can be selected.

Specifically, the SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 support artificial intelligence analysis with deep learning capabilities to improve shooting efficiency and usability. The new products support full-body, half-body and close-up three intelligent composition mode, shooting a higher degree of freedom.

The SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 have artificial intelligence recognition technology, even when wearing a mask can accurately identify the face of the subject, and the addition of the prompt light allows users to easily identify the camera is tracking the target.

In terms of image quality, the SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 both use a high-sensitivity Exmor R CMOS image sensor and support 4K 30p and FHD 60p formats. The SRG-A40 supports Clear Image Zoom technology, which increases the optical zoom from 20x to 30x in 4K format and 40x in FHD format, while the SRG-A12 supports a 12x optical zoom. In teleconverter mode, the SRG-A40 can be extended to 80x zoom, while the SRG-A12 can be extended to 24x zoom, and smooth and fast PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) control can be achieved between multiple units. In addition, Day and Night modes help optimize shooting in both bright and dark environments.

In addition, the new Sony cameras support 3G-SDI, HDMI and IP connections, and can be remotely controlled via VISCA / VISCA over IP. The SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 also support the PoE++ power supply standard, allowing power supply, output and control using a single network cable.
