According to Sony, the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will be the first PlayStation audio devices to use custom-designed planar magnetic drivers, enabling an audiophile listening experience typically found in professional sound engineers’ premium headphones.
It is worth mentioning that Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore also support the new PlayStation Link wireless audio technology, which can be directly connected with PlayStation Portal Remote Play, which can provide low-latency lossless audio and can play on multiple PlayStation Link hosts (such as with Easily switch between PS5 with USB adapter and PlayStation Portal.
Pulse Elite is priced at $149.99, €149.99, £129.99, and 18,980 yen; Pulse Explore is priced at $199.99, 219.99 euros, 199.99 pounds, 29,980 yen, listing date and other information have not yet been announced.
Additionally, PlayStation Link requires a USB adapter, which will also be sold separately as a separate item for use on both PC and Mac.
