HT-AX7 is equipped with two front speakers driven by X-Balanced speaker units, which adopt an off-centre design to help improve sound clarity, allowing the sound to spread more widely and bring a wider range of sound field performance; the left and right sides are equipped with a large-area diaphragm of about 49mm x 71mm, effectively enhancing low-frequency performance to bring a thick and surging sound effect. The HT-AX7’s rear speakers are even more distinctive, adopting a unique and thin pie-shaped design and Sony’s exclusive shallow diaphragm design inside to bring better sound detail. At the same time, the drivers are placed facing upwards, which helps the sound travel through 360° of space and also helps to minimize significant changes in sound due to changes in position.
Audio technology, the HT-AX7 is equipped with Sony’s high-quality digital amplifier S-Master, which suppresses sound distortion as much as possible so that sounds at different volumes are clear to the ear, and a more efficient amplifier also reduces heat generation and enables miniaturization of the amplifier.
In terms of battery life, the HT-AX7 can be used for about 30 hours on a single charge and supports fast charging, which allows for about 2.5 hours of use in 10 minutes of charging.
