Sony full-frame large aperture fixed-focus G master lens FE 50mm F1.4 GM (model name: SEL50F14GM) on February 23 to open pre-sale, priced at 9599 CNY, is now officially open for sale.
The new lens adopts a number of Sony’s advanced optical design technologies, including a high-precision ground XA lens, high-thrust XD linear motor and new compact circular aperture blades, weighing only about 516g, which is about 33%, and the volume is reduced by about 15%.
Sony FE 50mm F1.4 GM has built-in 2 XA (super aspheric) lenses, 1 ED (low dispersion) glass lens, and has 11 blades. The focusing speed is claimed to be 1.9 times faster than the previous generation, which can be used for shooting portraits and landscapes, weddings, travel and other themes to meet the needs of dual image shooting of photos and videos.
In addition, the FE 50mm F1.4 GM has a minimum focusing distance of approximately 0.41m and a maximum magnification of approximately 0.16x during autofocus.
The Sony G Master Lens FE 50mm F1.4 GM is Sony’s 72nd E-mount lens and the 17th G Master lens.
