Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens to be released soon, already on the overseas retail platform

SonyAddict found that the official announcement in January that the Sony FE 300mm f / 2.8 GM OSS lens in development is expected to usher in the official release soon, the product has now hit the B&H Photo website.

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to see any more details about this lens, but it’s expected to be released later this year, so stay tuned.

The official overview is as follows:

Sony is developing an FE 300mm f / 2.8 GM OSS lens that will deliver the stunning high resolution and artfully beautiful background bokeh that Sony's flagship G Master lens line has to offer. The lens, available for Sony E-mount, will provide professional sports, news and event photographers and videographers with enhanced image quality, enabling them to capture the next critical moments. The lens will extend the design of the 600mm f / 4 and 400mm f / 2.8 Grand Master OSS lenses.

This product is currently under development at Sony and its features and specifications are subject to change. We will post updated product information as soon as it becomes available.
