Appearing as pictured, the new PS5 has four separate covers with a glossy look at the top, while the bottom remains matte.
The new PS5 is described as being over 30% smaller and 18% and 24% lighter, and the new PS5 has a raised portion on the side for housing the optical drive that you can remove and replace with a side panel.
You can also buy your own HD Blu-ray drive for $79.99 (IT note: currently around $583) / €119.99 / £99.99, which will fit just like the existing PS5.
Additionally, the new PS5 console comes with a horizontal stand, while the new vertical stand will be sold separately for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 / ¥3,980.
