Performance gets a bump which makes it 2X faster while reducing its size by 30%. For connectivity which is at the peak of smartwatches, we have a new ultra-low power Bluetooth 5.3 architecture. The Wi-Fi offers spectral bands of 2.4GHz and 5GHz in addition to NFC support.

The new platform also supports camera and image processing with the Qualcomm Spectra ISP. The memory type on this platform is the LPDDR4 with a 16-bit width. It also runs Google’s Wear OS, Android, and Free RTOS.

Already, Qualcomm has two big names in the smart gadget industry ready to launch products with this platform. OPPO and Mobvoi are ready to launch products with the Snapdragon W5+ and W5 platforms.
