SmallRig today announced the launch of a new generation of lightweight V-mount battery VB99 Pro. This product is equipped with high-energy density cells and the fast charging power has been upgraded again.
According to the official introduction, the VB99 Pro battery has developed patented technology and supports fast charging PD3.0. The product has passed FCC / CE / RoHS / ISED / RCM / PSE / KC direct charging battery certification. This new product has been upgraded to support 100W power, and the battery’s full charging time is shortened by 30%. It only takes 2.5 hours to fully charge. The official claims that “charging takes 10 minutes and provides power for 2 hours.” In addition, this product also supports 100W power discharge and adopts a split power supply design, so multiple devices can be charged at the same time.
The VB99 Pro battery has a built-in high energy density 3500mAh (single) lithium battery pack with a total battery capacity of 99Wh. It can charge the iPhone 15 Pro about 5.5 times and power the Nikon Z8 for about 6 hours. This product has multiple types of built-in output ports, including 8V-OUT, 12V-OUT, USB-A, USB-C, D-Tap, BP, etc., which can be directly connected to mirrorless cameras, cameras, monitors, wireless image transmission, film and television Lamps, mobile phones, laptops and other devices.
In addition, this product is also equipped with a TFT color screen, which allows users to intuitively see the working status of the battery. The screen is made of PC + acrylic material, which is scratch-resistant and durable.
At present, the price of this new battery has not been announced.
