The Skyworth EV6 that participated in the C-NCAP crash test of China Automobile Research Institute this time, the configuration purchased by China Automobile Research Institute itself is the 520 smart version, and the official price is 205,800 yuan. The vehicle safety configuration includes 6 airbags, rear ISOFIX interface, front and rear seat belt force limiters, and front and rear seat belt unfastened reminders. It is worth noting that on the seat belt pretensioner, Skyworth EV6 did not equip the rear right seat.

C-NCAP conducted a comprehensive safety performance test on Skyworth EV6 520 Smart Edition, including occupant protection, pedestrian protection, active safety, etc. The specific evaluation is as follows:

★ Crew protection
In terms of occupant protection, the safety index of occupants in the car was 33.070 (out of 86 points) when a collision occurred; the safety index of occupants in the car when being rear-ended was 3.699 (out of 7 points), and the total occupant protection score rate was 38.45%. It is worth mentioning that in the frontal 100% overlapping rigid barrier crash test, the automatic locking function was not released after the crash; in the side column crash test, the compression deformation of the chest exceeded the limit value.

★ Pedestrian protection
In terms of pedestrian protection, the protective effect on the head of pedestrians outside the vehicle is 9.219 (out of 15 points), and the protection effect on the legs of pedestrians outside the vehicle is 3.530 (out of 5 points), with a total score of 61.46%.

★ Active Safety
In terms of active safety, including vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-person, vehicle-to-two-wheeler, lane keeping, lane lighting and other tests, the total score rate is 30.26%.

The frontal 100% overlapping rigid barrier crash test has a full score of 24 points, and Skyworth EV6 only scored 13.26 points, of which the right thigh of the front row main and co-pilot dummy directly scored zero, posing a fatal risk to the occupants. Not only that, the situation of the rear occupants is also very bad, and the three monitoring points of the child dummy on the right are all 0 points. That is to say, in the actual collision, the children in the rear row have no signs of life, and there is a great fatal risk. In addition, the configuration sheet of the test vehicle indicates that there is a reminder that the seat belt is not fastened, but the actual test found that there is no reminder at all, so another 2 points will be deducted.
