Silicon Power recently released a new PCIe Gen5 SSD called “XPOWER XS80” at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC).
This PCIe Gen5 SSD supports NVMe 2.0 and uses 232-layer 3D NAND flash memory, with transfer speeds twice that of PCIe Gen4 and four times that of Gen3.
The highlight of XPOWER XS80 is that it supports read and write speeds up to 10,000 MB/s, which can reduce game loading times and game lags.
XPOWER XS80 is also equipped with an excellent cooling system, with a customized aluminum alloy radiator and intelligent heat dissipation adjustment system, equipped with SP Toolbox software to ensure a stable output of the SSD.
XPOWER XS80 is available in two storage specifications: 1TB and 2TB. However, no pricing information has been announced yet, and it is expected to be launched next year.
